Fred was killed by rebel machine gun fire in Borneo - The Limbang Raid.
He was a much loved son and brother, and also a dear nephew to Jack and a loving cousin to all his
family he was very courageous and brave and was liked by everyone who knew him, he gave his life to
save others.
